About Me

My jewellery is crafted to last lifetimes, designed with care to be cherished and passed down the generations, yet intended to be worn every day. A gift of love, a precious reminder of the birth of a child, an 18th birthday treasure, or a simply a treat for yourself to celebrate how unique you are.

For me, jewellery is the most important part of an outfit, and usually the starting point when planning what to wear to a wedding, party or even a day out with the family.

All Joanne Tinley Jewellery is made by me, Joanne Tinley, in my studio in Hampshire using sterling and fine silver, 24k gold, semi-precious stones and handcrafted lampwork glass beads. Many of the stones and lampwork beads that I use in my Unique Collection are themselves unique and a joy to work with. However, my favourite technique is Keum Boo, a Korean technique that permanently bonds 24k gold to fine silver. It is this technique that I use in my popular Golden Collection.

Many of my made-to-order designs are available for wholesale. If you are interested in becoming a Joanne Tinley Jewellery stockist and wish to set up a wholesale account please email me on admin@joannetinleyjewellery.com
I am completely addicted to designing and making jewellery, and enjoy passing that addiction on to other people! I am a qualified teacher and run regular jewellery workshops for all abilities. In addition to this, I am a City and Guilds Jewellery Design tutor at Eastleigh College, Hampshire. I also use my design skills to create projects for craft magazines and I am a regular contributor to Beads & Beyond magazine. To date I have also been published in Practical Crafts & Cardmaking, Quick & Crafty, Bead Magazine and contributed to Lark Jewelry's 30-Minute Bracelets.

I enjoy commissions, so if there is a piece of jewellery that you would like me to make, either for yourself or as for a gift for someone special, please contact me.
